Position purpose To provide direction and oversight in order to ensure a courteous, accurate, and efficient Table Games experience for guests on assigned shift.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior guest service in accordance with department and company standard program.
Enforce table games and casino policies and procedures.
Strong knowledge of all games offered in the Table Games department.
Monitor games to ensure house rules are followed by guests and dealers.
Monitor games for potential dealer errors.
Coach and train dealers on proper policy and procedures.
Monitor and report player win/loss.
Order fills/credits as needed and in a timely manner.
Become familiar with signs of cheats and observe patrons for telling behaviors.
Prepare paperwork for monetary transactions.
Tactfully resolve guest complaints and render impartial decisions.
Follow all Departmental reporting and notification guidelines.
Encourage a positive atmosphere among guests and team members.
Instruct guests on the rules of the games.
Exchange paper currency for playing chips.
Ensure that all guests have placed bets before play begins.
Communicate guest or team member complaints to the Casino Operations Manager.
Ensure all department team members follow departmental Guest Service Standards.

Inspect cards and equipment periodically to ensure that they are in good condition.
Report broken or malfunctioning equipment to your Supervisor.
Ensure compliance with Title 31 record keeping policies and procedures.
Knowledge of all casino events and promotions.
Obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Ensure compliance with tip reporting procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education/Qualifications Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous blackjack dealing experience and/or completion of a formal blackjack training school required.
Must be at least 18.
Requires strong math skills.
Licensing Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License Work Requirements Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily.
Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
